Alps

Western Europes largest mountain range. Lots of roads made famous by Le Tour de France.

From Alpe d’Huez to Mont Ventoux.

To say they need no introduction is an understatement. Every cyclist has to experience the alps. Thousands of climbs, hundreds of which have featured in Le Tour de France, Paris-Nice, and the Giro de Italia. Stay in one location such as Bourg d’Oisans at the foot of Alpe d’huez or do a place to place ride. Geneva to Nice is quite the challenge as is a week-long trip starting at Alpe d’Huez and finishing on Mont Ventoux. Make it a longer trip and ride from the Alps to the Pyrenees.

  • Alpe d’Huez
  • Col de la Croix de Fer
  • Col du Galibier
  • Col de la Bonette – The highest road in the Alps at 2800m.
  • Col de Vars
  • Col d’Izoard
  • Col de l’Iseran
  • Mont Ventoux

Galicia, Asturias & Cantabria.

  • Oviedo
  • Alto de L’Angliru
  • Picos
  • Bilbao
